Yesterday we showed you the creations made by Manny and Mindi in our old shoe upcycling game! Today its Caroline and Leezar's turn, first up is Leezar and her purple snake skin numbers!
Leezar started off with these well worn round toed purple snake skin pumps. As you can see from the before shot the heels were shot and need some serious TLC! She stripped them and used fabric glue to recover them in old doilies - very on trend! More doilies were used on the toe of the shoes, moulded in to sweet blossoms using fabric stiffener. The shoes were also re-polished to cover any scuffs. These are so cute (Nanna-chic) and Mindi is eying them off as she has the same size foot!
Caroline's shoes were also well worn - they have seen a few parties! If you look at the before shoe you can see a bit of damage to the front left shoe. Caroline sewed up these super stylish polka dot pleated frills to cover the blemish - and add some sailor girl flair! These are now the cutest pair of pin-up shoes around!
