We received this very touching email from Dandi fan, Kylie, who purchsed our Gumleaf fabric some time ago to restore this well loved chair that she had inherited from a dear old friend who passed a few years ago.  Kylie wrote: 

He was an old “bushy”, full of character and had spent his youth travelling around the country, finding shearing work.  His name is Possum and it took many months for me to find just the right fabric that not only matched my décor, but had meaning and paid tribute to him.  I found it finally in your fabric tablecloth!  I have attached a photo of “Possums Chair”.

We absolutely love the sentiment behind Kylie's words and are so moved that our fabric could help to keep the memory of Possum alive. Thanks for sharing Kylie, we think the chair looks beautiful.

We were super excited to receive our copy of the Inside Out Christmas Special in the mail this week. Its full of great ideas and wonderful things to inspire for the impending festive season (Where did 2011 go? Anyone?) It came as a joyous surprise when we opening the covers to see a lovely little write up on our delicious bamboo petit spoon set.  

We are super excited to be in the current issue of one of our favourite mags - Frankie. We are even doubly excited to be featured right next to one of our favourite accessory companies - Polli. How good is that!?

We are so excited to announce that Caroline gave birth to a healthy baby boy 2 weeks ago, Sinclair. We think he is pretty well perfect. Our first Dandi baby came in at 2.8kg and 47cm. Mum and Bub are happy, healthy and a little tired.

We recently received the above image with fan mail from Kate in SA. Kate contacted us about a year ago wanting to find out the exact shade of our Berry oilcloth tablecloths so she could match her whole kitchen to it! We promptly sent her a swatch and voila! Red kitchen perfection. We think the renovation turned out spectacularly - and we love how the Bloom Tablecloth completes the look. Thanks for sharing Kate!

Dandi Bamboo utensils were selected by House & Garden Magazine for their 50 kitchen essentials article. 

Yesterday we received a lovely email from Steph over at Bondville about the beautiful celebration of her daughters 4th Birthday. Steph created a gorgeous pink and red Strawberry themed party with a selection of yummy strawberry flavoured desserts spread over a Dandi Geo pink tablecloth.

The Strawberry themed stationery and decorations are from Steph's new website Modern Printables. You could create a similar look using the Strawberry design from Modern Printables and a Dandi Petal tablecloth in Marshmallow. We think it all looks berry delightful!
